Housing Supportive Services
Disaster Relief Recovery
Disaster Recovery Centers provide disaster survivors with information from North Carolina state agencies, FEMA, and the U.S. Small Business Administration. Survivors can get help applying for federal assistance, learn about the types of assistance available, learn about the appeals process and get updates on applications.
The Centre for Homeownership operates a Disaster Recovery Center in Wilmington, NC due to the Hurricane Florence Disaster in 2018. We offer home repair, mortgage assistance, relocation assistance and home rehabilitation. For more information, contact James Stroud @ (919) 241-4718.
Socks of Hope: A Simple Way to Make a Big Difference
In the wake of Hurricane Helene, many individuals are left without basic necessities. Our goal is to raise $1,500 to provide socks—an essential item often overlooked but crucial for comfort and care. Your donation, no matter the size, will directly support those affected, helping to restore a sense of normalcy during this difficult time. Join us in making a difference—every pair of socks brings warmth, hope, and relief to those who need it most.
